🔵 PROJECT

As a key player in this project, you will not only ensure flawless, high-quality accounting under local GAAP (HAS) and IFRS, but you will also actively shape, automate, and secure our internal financial processes.

🔵 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure reliable accounting 

  • Record, control and report transactions in the area of responsibility
  • Ensure communication, documentation and risk mitigating actions to support internal and external audit in the area of responsibility
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations of allocated accounts, explain variations and ensure timely  resolution and clean up of overdue items
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings and financial statements validation
  • Take on and oversee special accounting topics according to HAS and/or IFRS
  • Ensure good financial reporting based on a very good understanding of data (master data)
  • Appropriate, apply and follow up the group and local accounting and compliance norms

Improve the processes

  • Actively design internal processes in the area of responsibility, document and communicate to the stakeholders
  • Contribute to constant improvement of the processes in the area of responsibility (efficiency, automation)
  • Organize, improve and securize the KPIs of specific subprocesses in the area of responsibility

Be an accounting value partner

  • Provide the necessary alerts for business risks (fraud, compliance) and associated mitigating controls
  • Consult, bring transparency to business stakeholders on financial KPIs, figures  and processes (finance data oriented)

🔵 QUALIFICATIONS 

Education

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related economic field. 

Technical & Professional Knowledge

  • Solid Accounting Foundation: IFRS knowledge is a strong plus / an advantage, but not mandatory
  • Systems & ERP Savvy: Experience with any major accounting or ERP system is welcome (we will train you on ours!), but advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is essential.
  • Analytical & Numerical Strength: Outstanding numerical ability combined with sharp analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Business Acumen: A solid understanding of overall business operations and processes.
